Chyann Rose
Chyann Rose is a 20 year old singer & musician from Statesboro , GA. currently a Junior at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She began her singing career at the age of 7 singing in Church and has been performing ever since. At age 9 she started playing guitar and entered her first talent show. By the age of 12 she was one of the "front" girls in a rock band called Supernova, put together by the School of Rock program at Pladd Dot Music in Statesboro, where she grew up. Now, she is a regular on both the Statesboro and Athens music scenes performing in some of the same spots as Luke Bryan, Eric Lee Beddingfield and Cole Swindell. She has been performing all over the state for the last 6 years.
She has been nominated by Georgia-Country.com as a 4-time finalist for Teen Artist of the Year as well as the GA Music Awards, and was a finalist at the Country Showdown in Savannah twice and a local finalist at the Nash Next Competition.
Chyann has performed on the Firestone Stage at the 2016 Suwannee Music Festival headlined by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
She has also opened for Cole Swindell, Colt Ford ( Josh Reddick Foundation Concert), Chelsea Bain and has performed her original song for Jennifer Nettles.
In 2019, Chyann Rose was selected as one of 8 Georgia artists to be featured in Georgia's Country Connection a companion series to the Ken Burns documentary Country Music which aired on Georgia Public Television.
Chyann enjoys performing Country music mixed with Southern Rock and Classics from the 50's, 60's & 70's. While she loves playing songs from many of the artists you love, such as Reba, Miranda Lambert, and The Rolling Stones, she is also working to write her own songs. Three of these songs are already available wherever you listen to music, and many more are in the works.
